To reduce the corrosion you can add zinc cleats to the bottom of your boat to act as a sacrificial metal. The zinc will corrode and not your hull. How long a 15mm sheet steel metal in water can last ,only serious answer pls?
How long is a piece of string?

Steel boats and rust go hand in hand... get it in dry dock... do the job properly and keep an eye on major problems. they almost invariably rust from the inside out.
Roughly 79 days, 7 hours, 20 minutes, 54 seconds
Use proper coating material according to standards.
Remember, there are still boats in Pearl Harbor sunk in 1941 . . . .
