in automotive industry lots of small sheet metal brackets are being used (e.g. brackets for harness, brackets for rf.etc.).
how do we validate these small brackets and how do we classify its judgment criteria for pass or failed rather than visual inspection?Test validation for sheet metal brackets?
Stress analysis is used to determine whether the expected loads are within the bracket's strength, and by what factor. This can be done through hand calculations (plugging numbers into formulas), or by finite element analysis.
