Please find the least area of sheet metal needed to make a water tank.?

A tank is to be made of sheet metal. It is to have a square base and be open at the top. what is the least area of metal that can be used if the tank is to have a volume of 32m^2

please help (with workings) thank you!!Please find the least area of sheet metal needed to make a water tank.?
You can't have a volume of 32m^2. Do you mean 32m^3?

Let l be the length of the sides of the square base of the tank,

h be the height,

and A be the total area of metal used.

Now volume = l * l * h = 32m鲁, so h = 32 / (l * l)

and A = l * l + 4 * (l * h)

Plot a graph of l (= length of base) against A (= total area of metal used) and find the minimum. Or, knowing that the slope of a curve is zero at a minimum or maximum, differentiate A with respect to l, and find a sensible value of l where dA/dl = 0.Please find the least area of sheet metal needed to make a water tank.?
or you can cheat and use excel, and get 48m^2 to be the minimum area. That means base length of 4m and height of 2m
