Which wrangler has a strongest or thicker sheet metal panels 1995 YJ or 2003 TJ?

Almost all sheet metal in US built cars since the eighties start out as 18 ga. metal that is stamped into the shapes needed. Some parts use thicker gauge steel depending on the strength needed in the part. This of course stretches the steel and you may end up with 22 or 24 ga. metal in places, especially where large curving shapes are stamped to fit the profiles of some cars' fenders. I've researched this myself and the info is pretty sparse on the net, but after talking to a few body shop people, this is the best answer i've found, although it applies to all US and foreign made cars and trucks.
