How do you solder galvanized sheet metal?

Is there a fairly simple solution? How do you solder galvanized sheet metal?
You can weld or solder galvanized steel with your normal tools. You can use a MIG or a TIG. One thing that you need to be aware of, though, is that when you work with galvanized metals, the fumes from the oxidation are kind of toxic. So wear goggles, because it will irritate your eyes to the point of swelling them shut (if you generate enough smoke), and wear a mask that will sufficiently filter what you're breathing. It's pretty nasty stuff... I know from experience from welding/replacing galvanized sheet metal into a tandem used to carry rock salt. How do you solder galvanized sheet metal?
Galvanized sheet metal can welt by a galvanize rod electrod to another.

spot welder?
Some fume danger to lungs. Use care. With stick welder depending on thickness (easy to blow out molten metal rather than get a good molten puddle) have used 1/16 rods with light touch on galvanized electric pipe to make a bent cornered inflateable rowing frame. with a soldering iron and plumbers solder (50/50 lead/tin) The flux is zinc chloride solution (otherwise known as ';killed Spirits of Salt';)
I use a large gas torch heated copper soldering iron.

clean well removing all dirt, oil and rust.
