My question is what would u use to soder a 24 gauge sheet metal together ?

We have started a new project making water walls and i am biulding some resovoirs out of 24 gauge metal. I need to know the best way in sodering the joints .thanks for the helpMy question is what would u use to soder a 24 gauge sheet metal together ?
Mig or tig welding should be used.

You may be able to braze it

also but soldering may be tough!

If you must solder clean all sufaces thoroughly and don't spare the flux.My question is what would u use to soder a 24 gauge sheet metal together ?
24 ga is pretty thin metal for any strength but it should be easy enough to solder with a small propane torch. Even a 14 or 16 ga sheet metal could be soldered with a torch. Maybe the solution is to use some plumbers solder and soldering flux. The plumbers solder no longer contains lead so that is not a concern. Practice on some scrap or cleaned tin cans to develop the skill needed.

Remember the larger the ga number, the thinner or smaller the material.
Soldering is what you do for wires and PCBs. For 24 Gauge metal you need a MIG welder. It's not a task for a first timer. At best you could weld a rubbish joint that splits apart and at worst you could seriously injury yourself or somebody else.

You're also going to need welding gloves, a full face mask and to clear anything remotely combustible out of the area. If possible weld outside.

Don't have anything remotely resembling a gas can anywhere near.
Don't go overboard with the encouragement Meilien. Mig welding isn't that difficult. Oh and I'd say mig was the way to go.
you cannot solder steel, you need to mig weld it. at least thats the best way for a complete novice
ha, ha, ha.....certainly not solder. How about a welding torch? 24 guage is pretty thick metal.
