What is the easiest way to cut large pieces of sheet metal?

what about a machine shops electric shear. that is the best way. but for home use? how big is the sheet. how accurate? how many cuts? i can cut very straight with just tin snips. why not use those. save a bunch of money. unless your making hundreds of cuts. i would build custom air ducts and plenums all day. so it depends.

just some ideas, sorry i could not help more without more specifics. What is the easiest way to cut large pieces of sheet metal?
You can take an OLD skill saw blade and reverse it in your skill saw..it will cut right through the metal without leaving jagged edges..go out and try this on a scrap piece you will see..I am a 37 year experienced painter, but have dabbled in all phases of construction..I roofed for awhile and this is all we used on metal roofs...The carpenters framing the houses in this sub division gave us all thier used blades...What is the easiest way to cut large pieces of sheet metal?
The easiest way is with an electric shear. You can rent one or buy one if you would use it a lot.
a matabo cuts metal like will blow you away bout expensive but well worth the cost if large job
A skill saw with an abrasive blade does a good job and don't cost much.
