I really don't care about the actual thickness of it but how workable it is. What are some of it's uses. Could you use it to build a air box for an AC unit.How this is 30 gauge sheet metal. Is it really flimsy or just moderate.?
30 gauge is pretty flimsy, and easy to work with. it is suitable for duct work, 26 or 28 would be better. but 30 will work fine.How this is 30 gauge sheet metal. Is it really flimsy or just moderate.?
It will work but my guess is it will be very noisy as it is not thick enough to be stable in any sizable surface unless you fasten it to angle iron or something else to stabilize it air pressure will make it vibrate
